Welcome to White Pine County!

The White Pine County Economic Diversification Council works closely with the County Commission, Ely City Council and community groups to promote economic and community development.

The Council markets the area for industrial development, works with companies interested in locating in White Pine County, administers the County's Industrial Park and Revolving Loan Fund, assists new businesses with licensing and permitting issues, and offers services to local entrepreneurs through the Home Grown Jobs Program.

Council staff conducts the annual Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy planning process, helps the County with grant development, provides grant administration and works with the County Commission to carry out special projects.
The Council office is located on the second floor of the Courthouse Annex, on Campton Street across from the duck pond.
